How To Handle Money?

Category: Advices, Making money basics — admin @ 6:28 pm

handlemoney How To Handle Money?

This is not a post about ways to make money but in my mind, knowing to handle your money is a big part of life…

It’s true that money cannot buy everything, but of course, there are advantages when you have enough or much money. You could be able to meet your needs and provide the needs of those people who depends on you. These fast and demanding times, you have to see to it that you are good at handling money.

You must treat the value of every amount of money you use or spend. Just like all the rest of your belongings, there are reminders that would let you keep your money in such a way that you will not have a tough time doing budgets and there would be no instance that you would worry about lacking money.

There are things to do in order to achieve that certain phase of your life when money is an asset and it is at it’s most useful time as well.

  • Live life the way your resources could cater to your needs
  • Plan your expenditures. Watch your plan.

- Prepare budget showing how much you would spend for a month and even for as short as a week.

  • Do not throw away those receipts and other paper big or small just to remind you if you would be spending more or it is all enough.
  • Do not rely on too much credit card. For now, they may speak to you words of assurance but actually they could be very threatening if misused.
  • Live a less extravagant way of living. See to it that your habits are not causing you to spend a lot.
  • Be a critical-thinker. Avoid panic buying and think well before buying products.
  • Keep yourself healthy for as you get sick, you get to spend a lot too for medical needs.
  • Avoid gambling. It would just push you to venture on spending more and more.

When you follow these reminders, it would surely lead you to better results. You would surely live a financially stable life. You have to watch out your expenses. Money is indeed an advantageous asset but, having it would really be big responsibility as well.

You would not want to lose anything you want, do you?

So for all of you, who would want to maintain financial stability, these tips would surely be worth-remembering for they would surely lead you to outcomes you would probably like.

Happy planning!

Afraid To Take A Vacation? Put Your Business On Cruise Control

Category: Advices, Making money basics — admin @ 6:30 pm

“I started my business so that I’d have freedom, but I’ve never felt more trapped….”

I come across a statement like that at least once a day on a forum post or in email. You start your internet business because of the freedom of being your own boss and working on your own schedule and then promptly sit on your hind-end for 12 hours/day EVERY DAY. No wonder you feel burnt out.  And no wonder family and friends are feeling neglected when all you can think and talk about is your business.

Freedom sounds pretty miserable to me if it means freedom from fun and the ones that I love.

So, how do you break free?

Start by taking a good look at your business and getting your goals and priorities straight. Don’t worry, it’s not nearly as complicated as it sounds. I’ll walk you through it right now. Ready?

Grab a pen and a piece of paper or open your favorite word processor. Divide your page into four columns.

Now you’re ready to brainstorm. Write everything down as it comes to mind. Don’t overthink this. Just start writing.

First, figure out what is working. Whatever it is. It may be one of your websites, your ecourses, a joint venture, a certain marketing method. Where is the bulk of your money coming from, currently? (If none yet, where do you believe will be the place where the largest profits will come from?) Write those items in column #1 under: “Do More”.

Second, figure out what is not bringing in money. Is it hanging out on forums or posting classified ads to freebie sites? Is it endlessly checking your stats, or email?  What are your daily time-suckers? Write those under column #2: “Do less”.

Third, figure out what could work better. Do you have upsells in place? Are your websites designed to bring you cash from every visitor? Make a list of ideas in column #3: “Improvements”. (If you don’t know yet, don’t worry. There are plenty of ways to improve your business as you learn and grow.)

Fourth, figure out what can be automated. Which tasks are repetitive and boring, albeit necessary? Many of those types of tasks can be automated with simple tools. For instance, if you’re submitting articles to directories by hand, there are tools and services to do that for you. Add these to column #4: “Automation”.

Now that you’re armed with your list, it’s time to get to work.

Look at your list in Column #1: “Do More”. Those are the tasks that you should focus your energies on. It’s a good idea to tackle one or two of the tasks on that list first thing in the morning – every morning. Believe me, it’s much more productive than checking out your favorite blogs or logging into twitter. And you’ll be amazed at how much you can get done quickly when your mind is fresh.

Look at your list in Column #2: “Do Less”. These activities should be forbidden until after you get your #1 list done, if you do them at all. For instance, hanging out on Twitter is fun, but do not do it until everything in column #1 is finished for the day.

Now, go back to Column #1, 3, and 4. Your “Do More”, “Improvements”, and “Automation” lists.

Look at all of the items that are on those three lists. Now, circle each task that you …

• Can’t Do
• Don’t Have Time to Do
• Don’t Want To Do

Those are the tasks that you’ll outsource.

Freedom means a lot of things. It means freedom to do the things that you want to do. However, it also means freedom to NOT do things that you really dislike doing.

For me, it’s graphics. I have outsourced all of my graphics since 2001. I don’t have the time, patience or inclination to learn how to make my own graphics. I have more important things to do, like write this article and then go on a bike ride with my son. Perhaps when I get back from my bike ride, my graphics will be waiting for me in my inbox.

Now, that’s freedom to me.

Take Advantage of Opportunities to Become Successful

Category: Advices, Money & Spirituality — admin @ 5:54 pm

magnifysuccess Take Advantage of Opportunities to Become SuccessfulShe doesn’t say it… but it’s sounds to me like the law of attraction !  Pascale

Do you know how to take advantage of opportunities that come your way?

Do you even recognize all of the wonderful opportunities that are available to you right now, if you just open the door?

Or, do you tend to think you could be successful “if only______” (fill in the blank with whatever you THINK you are waiting for)?

Highly successful people tend to take advantage of whatever opportunities come their way. In fact, many of these people tend to believe that success is just “an opportunity waiting to happen.” They EXPECT wonderful opportunities to come to them. Which means they are always on the lookout for some pleasant possibility, and usually they are not disappointed.

They open the door to realize, “the sky is the limit.” You know many people like this. They’re the ones who “make lemonade” when presented with a bag of lemons because they have recognized the lemons for their potential - they represent an opportunity for something better. Successful people don’t bemoan what they don’t have.

They use what they DO have to realize their potential, which means they often become more and more successful as time goes on. Today, make a list of all the skills, resources, and opportunities you DO have. Try to see things in a new way so that you aren’t missing the opportunities that are right there before you. Then decide how you will use these things to your advantage.

Opportunity knocks every day.

But it’s up to you to open the door.

Try it!

6 Secrets of the Wealthy

Category: Advices, Money & Spirituality — admin @ 11:18 am

Really interesting article…  Do you have the wealthy mindset or the poor mindset?  If it is the second one…  it’s time to change that!  Check this out!  Pascale

secretofthewealthy 6 Secrets of the WealthyThink you need money to make money? Maybe so, but a lot of the times you will see wealthy people make the right choices at the right time. Why can’t you? You can make more money fast by studying and applying these 6 secrets of the wealthy:

1) Let go of unrealistic expectations. Wealthy people know that it will take them so much time at a certain return on their investment to get where they need to go. Poor people guess what they need or assume they can make a 20% return (unrealistic) every year on their money to meet their goals. They are doomed for failure.

2) High pay off activities. Wealthy people know how to pick the right investments that will give them the return they will need and avoid anything else. Poor people can’t make the right decision at the right time. They can’t tell if some investment is good for them because they haven’t taken the time to learn about it. They take tips from friends and hope for the best but usually get in the wrong investment at the wrong time and are vulnerable to commission salespeople.

3) Designing your money around your lifestyle. Wealthy people know how to use money to support their values and their lifestyle. Money becomes not just an asset but a support system to how they live. Poor people use money to acquire objects and investments that do not support them, their families, or their lifestyle choices.

4) Play with the right people. Wealthy people have built strong relationships for their support system- a valued fee-only financial advisor who is the quarterback to their team that includes an accountant, insurance agent, and estate planning attorney. Poor people don’t think they are worthy of the services of a professional team. They look for the least expensive services, question their expertise, and have loyalty to no one.

5) Keep your eye on the target. Wealthy people have long term goals and have identified what it will take to achieve them. Their goals are clear so nothing can shake them from continuing to do what they need to do to achieve their goals. Poor people have no goals and invest for the moment. They don’t know what to invest for and have no idea of what kind of return and what risk they are taking. Therefore they are prone to chase after the latest hot investment and they lose money more often than needed.

6) Overcome procrastination, fear and overwhelm with targeted wealth building activities. Wealthy people understand that to make money you have to take some risk. They are able to evaluate risk and get out of fear to take action and not procrastinate. By doing so, they understand that there will be winners and losers but their decisiveness makes them more winners. Poor people freeze when they have to make an investment decision. Their fear holds them back from action and they lose out on investment opportunities or make the wrong decision at the wrong time.

Study the 6 secrets of the wealthy above to see what changes you can make to develop a wealth building mindset.

Internet Marketing Tips - Surviving in This Horrible Economy

moneywithcable Internet Marketing Tips - Surviving in This Horrible EconomyWell, let’s not kid ourselves. Thing are bad. How bad. This past September, I had my worst month of the whole year. But guess what? I still broke 10K in earnings. Yes, that’s a bad month for me, but it’s certainly not a bad month. Many Internet marketers would be thrilled to have a 10K month. So, how did I do it? How have I managed to survive the most horrible financial times since the Great Depression? I’m going to share the three main reasons in this article. Pay attention. They may just save YOU as well.

At the top of the list is diversity. Unlike a lot of Internet marketers, I do NOT put all my eggs in one basket. I sell products in many niches, not just the make money online niche. Some of these niches are things that don’t suffer as much in a poor economy. As a matter of fact, some things actually do better in bad economy, such as debt relief. Who doesn’t want to get out of debt when things are going so badly? So diversification is one key to doing well when things are not going so well.

Another thing I do is run sales. Hey look, when money is tight, people are looking for bargains. So I run sales. I run them often. I’d rather sell some products at a lower profit margin than not make the sale at all. I also look for affiliate products that are on the low end of the scale. In other words, something like Nitro Marketing Blueprint, which runs close to $300, is not something I will promote heavily now. Instead I will promote products that sell for about $17 or so. They are much easier to sell when times are tough.

Finally, I get rid of all my subscriptions and things that I really don’t need. You’d be surprised how many things you pay for on a monthly basis that you have absolutely no use for. I just killed a membership site subscription and something else that was doing me no good at all. A few dollars here and there and they all add up. So make a list of all the things you’re paying for and see if there is anything that you can live without.

These are just a few ways to survive this horrible economy. Want to find out how to make a good living online all year round, good or bad times? In my signature is a great resource.

Surviving in this horrible economy isn’t as hard as you might think.

To YOUR Success,

How to Detect and Fight Online Dating Scams

Category: Advices — admin @ 5:08 pm

detectonlinedatingscam How to Detect and Fight Online Dating ScamsI know that thoses articles are not ways to make money, it’s more of a warning to not lose money.  The more people will be aware of thoses tactics, the better I will feel.  Pascale

Google Trends shows that online dating is getting popular. As a result, the number of romance scams as well as victims are on the rise. From my first hand experience, majority of the dating scams are from West African countries - Nigeria, Ghana, Senegal, etc. This is collectively called Nigerian Romance Scams - one of the various forms of Nigerian scams.

A Romance Scam normally involves these steps:

Step 1: The scammer posts an attractive photo (such as attractive professional models) and fake profile on a dating website.

Step 2: Mass message members with pre-written copy of message.

Step 3: In the message, the scammer normally shows interests in the victim’s profile and asks if the victim wants to know more about the scammer. Most of the time an email address (Yahoo mail or Hotmail) of the scammer is included in the message.

Step 4: If the scammer gets replies, he/she would make up stories and would normally claim how bad his/her current situation is and needs help to overcome it in some way. The scammer’s story could be very emotional and easily gain sympathy and affection from the victim.

Step 5: The scammer gradually lures the victim away from the messaging channels provided by the dating website towards external means such as personal emails, instant messaging, telephone calls, or even webcam (this is the scary part. They will find excuses not to show their real faces but they could take photos of the victim via webcam. Sometimes they ask the victim to get naked. The scammer would later demand for money by threatening with exposure of the victim’s naked photos on internet).

Step 6: No matter what the story is, after a period of establishing trust, romance, and desire, the scammer will ask for money to be sent in forms such as cash money orders, send merchandise, or currency exchange via a telegraphic money transfer service, usually Western Union or Moneygram, etc.

Step 7: The scammer keeps asking for money until the victim can’t afford or the fraud is perceived.

Note that the scammers steal attractive photos from other websites, so these photos have nothing to do with these scammers. The real people of these photos are also victims of romance scam.

How to identify red flags in a profile or message

Here is online dating scammers list on NextWink.

Scam profiles or messages share characteristics that can be generalized. Here is a list that I summarized from the scam profiles and messages on my site.

* Scammers Profiles are made up of these attributes:

- 20 to 35 years of ages

- Single with no kids

- Looking for long-term relationship or romance

- Profession is normally student, nurse, model (or will become a model)

* Profiles are usually perfect in English but messages are broken.

* Relocation: the scammer claims she/he is travelling, working, or stuck in a foreign country and would like to come back to the country (US, Australia, etc) soon.

* The scammers tell you that they are having trouble to get back home or cash their paychecks.

* Email address is included in the message (normally Yahoo or Hotmail email address) and is very keen to talk from there rather than use the dating site’s internal messaging channels.

* Promise to send more photos via emails if get replies.

What to do if you suspect that someone is trying to scam you?

* Some members on my site ask scammer questions about Australia (where she/he is living, what towns are around, Football or cricket questions, etc) and many times the scammer wouldn’t have a clue.

* One member asked where the scammer lived in Australia and what towns were around her. The scammer said she lived in Sydney. Her reply was “I do not go outside much, so I do not know what towns are around me”. She was clearly scamming. She could not even spell Australia right.

* Report your suspicion to the dating site webmaster.

* Join romance scams Yahoo Groups to get support and search their database for fake profile info. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/romancescams/

I hope, after reading this article, you are put on alert about romance scammers in general. Educate yourself about online dating scams and help yourself to know how to prevent it from happening to you. Next time when you use an online dating service, I hope you would be able to judge by yourself the credibility of profiles and messages.
