If you read yesterday post, you already know that I’ve seen Oprah show and inspired me to do something to help the world in some ways. If you have not read it go there: Ways to give back?
Today post, I am talking about the first person feature on Oprah show who took matter into her own hands and done something about it. Genevieve Piturro left her job in marketing and created Pajama Program a non-profit organization that gives new pajamas to foster children in the united states and around the world. At this point, the organization was able to give 85,000 pajamas to foster children! Furthermore, with Oprah help, the audience gave 32,046 new pajamas to the organization Pajama Program to be distributed! It is so amazing! However, they need more, more and more…!!!
If you feel that life has been giving you lots of different gifts, for example, love, friends, children, job, money, the list could be endless, maybe it could be time to give back a little ! Any amount will do…

Today, I saw Oprah. Normally, I don’t have the time to catch it but this week, I am on vacation. Oprah is an inspiration to me because she gives back a lot!
The subject of the show: Changing the World!
Stories of people that quit the high paying job to pursue their calling. I don’t remember to have cried so much on a show like Oprah. Normally, some shows are really moving but this one made a real impression on me. I was so inspired by those people who are doing something!
It gave me an idea. Create a new category. Ways to give back ! This blog is all about making money. It’s ok, and there is nothing wrong with that. However, there is something missing from the start. One of my goal is not to spend most of the money on new cars that I don’t drive and homes that I don’t live in. But still, actually gives a lot back to the world. Those people inspired me to do something! We don’t have all the same calling and are not able to leave a good paying job for creating an organization for helping the world in some ways.
But… we CAN certainly help those people who have the calling and the guts to do it!
My new category will do just that… links for donating to organization that helps the WORLD be a better place. They need our help to make it happen!
On the next 2 post, I will talk more about the two stories that touch my heart!
